North Korea

North Korea, officially the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, is a mystical country in East Asia. The name Korea is derived from the Kingdom of Goguryeo, also spelled as Koryŏ. Pyongyang, both the nation's capital as well as its largest city, has an abundance of socialist sites for the foreign visitor to enjoy. North Korea might not be the most easy-going destination, but there are plenty of incredible experiences to be had in the world's most mysterious country!

Beautiful resort with frinedly staff.....

We would DEFINITELY recommend the resort. It was beautiful with friendly staff and delicious food. It was low-key, yet fun. We went on one excursion, which was excellent (swimming with sea turtles and swimming in a cave), and we took the bus to Tulum and Playa del Carmen. I was very glad we weren’t staying in Playa del Carmen, which was SO packed with people. We are still planning our biking expedition for 2027 and would be happy to take next...
